Your massage session will take place in a comfortable, quiet room which is an escape from the outside world. Soft music will be played to help you relax. You will lie on a table especially designed for comfort.

The average full-body massage session lasts one hour or more. A half-hour only allows time for a partial massage session, such as neck and shoulders.

Traditionally, a massage is performed with the client unclothed; however, you may decide what amount of clothing you prefer to wear for comfort. I will provide you with clean sheets and/or towels to drape yourself. You will be properly draped at all times. Only areas being worked will be exposed.

Massage can help release chronic muscular tension and pain, improve circulation, increase joint flexibility, reduce mental and physical fatigue and stress, promote faster healing of injured muscular tissue, improve posture, reduce blood pressure and more.

Desired outcome and health issues will be discussed beforehand. This will determine which areas are to be addressed. A typical full body session will include work on your back, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck and shoulders. There will be no genital contact (male or female).

Please tell your therapist if you require more or less pressure, or to stop if you have pain. It’s your massage. Enjoy!
